The PACIFICA FOUNDATION has named former IDEASTREAM noncommercial News-Talk WCPN/CLEVELAND Station Manager MAXIE JACKSON as Exec. Dir., reports CURRENT.

JACKSON, who left WCPN in JULY after four years and is a former Pres./CEO of the NATIONAL FEDERATION OF COMMUNITY BROADCASTERS, Sr. Dir./Program Development at NEW YORK PUBLIC RADIO, PD at WETA/WASHINGTON, and GM at WEAA/BALTIMORE, fills the slot most recently occupied by interim Exec. Dir. TOM LIVINGSTON, who took the reins in JANUARY.
