L.A. Times To Launch New Sports Podcast 'Arrive Early, Leave Late'

The LOS ANGELES TIMES is adding a new weekly sports podcast this WEDNESDAY (10/17), according to the paper's Sports Editor ANGEL RODRIGUEZ.

"ARRIVE EARLY, LEAVE LATE" (the title is a dig at the stereotype of LOS ANGELES fans as arriving at games late and leaving early to beat traffic) will be hosted by veteran L.A. sportscaster and podcaster BETO DURAN with appearances by TIMES sportswriters.  The show's debut will include an interview with LEBRON JAMES.

The TIMES has attempted sports podcasts in the past, including USC and UCLA football shows and NFL- and NBA-centric podcasts, but none are presently active.  The paper has found more success with the entertainment podcast "THE REEL," PATT MORRISON's audio version of her column, and the true crime podcast "DIRTY JOHN," produced with WONDERY.
