MIKE CLARK, who with DREW LANE formed the longrunning "DREW & MIKE SHOW" at Active Rock WRIF/DETROIT, has passed away. CLARK had battled health issues in recent years; FOX O&O WJBK-TV (FOX 2)/DETROIT's M.L. ELRICK reports that CLARK died suddenly in his sleep of an as-yet undetermined cause. He was 63.
CLARK hosted with LANE for 22 years on WRIF until the show's 2013 cancellation; he rejoined LANE, who briefly moved on to host a sports show at crosstown WMGC (DETROIT SPORTS 105.1), for a podcast, but while the show continued to bear both hosts' names, CLARK's appearances on the "DREW & MIKE PODCAST" were intermittent, limited to occasional call-ins, most recently in AUGUST.
