FEMA, IHeartMedia To Show Off Upgraded WLW/Cincinnati Emergency Studio

The FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (FEMA) and iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WLW-A-W233BG/CINCINNATI will unveil the newly modernized emergency studio facilities at the station's AM transmitter site in MASON, OH next WEDNESDAY (10/24). The facility is one of 77 Primary Entry Point stations in the National Public Warning System (NPWS); Congress mandated upgrades to PEP stations as part of the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) Modernization Act of 2015.
The ribbon cutting, tour, and live demonstration will include FEMA IPAWS Director ANTWANE JOHNSON, NPWS Program Manager MANNY CENTENO, iHEARTMEDIA CINCINNATI Market President DJ HODGE and EVP, Engineering and Systems JEFF LITTLEJOHN, and WLW host BILL CUNNINGHAM.
