iHeartMedia/Detroit Holds Trunk-or-Treat For Halloween

iHEARTMEDIA/DETROIT will hold the inaugural TRUNK-OR-TREAT, a free outdoor trick-or-treating event, at DETROIT PAL’s CORNER BALLPARK on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27th. Hosted by iHEARTMEDIA/DETROIT Top 40 WKQI (CHANNEL 955), AC WNIC, Urban WJLB, Urban AC WMXD (MIX 92.3), Alternative WDTW (ALT 106.7), and Sports WDFN (THE FAN), families and children are invited to come in costume from 10a to noon for a fun and safe trick-or-treating experience. 

Local radio personalities will assist with handing out candy from vehicle trunks and a live DJ will be on site mixing classic, spooky tunes. There will also be a free fall-themed photo area, bounce houses and other HALLOWEEN-themed games and activities. There will also be a costume contest for kids hosted by CHANNEL 955 morning star MOJO and a live broadcast with CHANNEL 955.

“DETROIT has been looking for safe and family-friendly ways to celebrate HALLOWEEN and we wanted to provide that outlet for the community,” iHEARTMEDIA/DETROIT RSVP/Programming TONY TRAVATTO said. “There has been a trend toward trunk-or-treating in the last several years, so we partnered with DETROIT PAL to bring one to downtown DETROIT.”
