Yesterday's report about possible lineup changes at CUMULUS News-Talk WLS-A/CHICAGO at ROBERTFEDER.COM (NET NEWS 10/23) have led to confirmation TODAY by FEDER that STEVE DAHL will be exiting afternoons at WLS on DECEMBER 21st. DAHL will continue his long-running podcast at DAHL.COM.

In an email to FEDER, DAHL called the station "an uphill battle, and circumstances just didn’t lend themselves to us being able to breakout like we hoped we would.” But he added that "the podcast numbers continue to grow every day" and that CUMULUS would remain a partner in DAHL's podcast network.
