Who Will Be The 2018 ‘Slingshot Artist Of The Year’?

In the fall of 2017 NPR MUSIC and the VUHAUS public radio network kicked off SLINGSHOT, a collective effort to elevate exceptional emerging artists.  Continuing in JANUARY 2018 and throughout this year, 18 VUHAUS public media outlets and NPR MUSIC have been introducing new artists to watch. 

Now with 40 artists on the roster, it is time to select the 2018 “SLINGSHOT ARTIST OF THE YEAR.”  From now through NOVEMBER 15th, fans will be encouraged to vote by the VUHAUS radio stations, NPR MUSIC and the SLINGSHOT ARTISTS themselves.  

All 40 of the 2018 Slingshot artists are eligible to win.  The selected artist will be featured in a DECEMBER interview on NPR’s “All Things Considered.”
