Podtrac Releases October Ranker Of Top 20 Podcast Publishers

PODTRAC has released its OCTOBER 2018 ranking of the Top 20 podcast publishers.

The combination of iHEARTMEDIA (fourth in SEPTEMBER) with its newly acquired HOWSTUFFWORKS (eighth last month) led to the merged companies moving into second place overall, behind only NPR. HOWSTUFFWORKS' merger into iHEART's numbers made room for one entrant into the Top 10, BEN SHAPIRO's THE DAILY WIRE. Total global downloads for the top 10 publishers rose 26% from SEPTEMBER and rose 73% year-to-year.

The publisher rankings, which, once again, only include shows opting in for PODTRAC's Podcast Measurement System for the full month (and missing some of the largest shows and publishers) and ranked by unique U.S. monthly audience:
