To celebrate BOB SEGER's Farewell tour, the mayor of GRAND RAPIDS, ROSALYNN BLISS signed a proclamation last week to honor the DETROIT native making WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21st officially BOB SEGER DAY. To celebrate the day, GRAND RAPID's B.O.B. Bar was renamed "BOB SEGER" and Fulton St was called "MAIN STREET" for the day.
CUMULUS MEDIA's Classic Rock WLAV/GRAND RAPIDS, MI celebrated the day playing BOB SEGER tracks throughout and WLAV on-air personalities and staff signed a huge "Thank You, BOB SEGER!" banner that will be displayed for SEGER backstage during the JANUARY 5th show in town. The station gave away BOB SEGER memorabilia to concertgoers as well.
