Urban One Holds First Honors Awards Show

Washington, D.C.

URBAN ONE will hold its inaugural URBAN ONE HONORS Award show on SUNDAY DECEMBER 9th, 6:30p (ET) at THE ANTHEM in WASHINGTON, D.C.  The show will be hosted by comedian/REACH MEDIA air personality D. L. HUGHLEY.

The event is presented by MGM NATIONAL HARBOR and (URBAN ONE) RADIO ONE/WASHINGTON D.C. stations Urban AC WMMJ (MAJIC 102.3 & 92.7), Urban WKYS (93.9), Inspiration WPRS (PRAISE 104.1), Talk WOL-A-W240DJ, Gospel WYCB-A ( MY SPIRIT 1340), and Sports WTEM-A (THE TEAM 980).

MARVIN SAPP and K-CI of JODECI are set to perform.  There will also be a special musical tribute to the late "QUEEN OF SOUL" ARETHA FRANKLIN.

Presenters will include HITCO ENTERTAINMENT Co-Chairman L. A. REID, DA BRAT, BRYAN MICHAEL COX, RAY J, ROLAND MARTIN, and Q PARKER.
