Two NASHVILLE Country artists who also happen to be best friends, SAVANNAH KEYES and KALIE SHORR, have teamed up to host a new feature on RADIO DISNEY COUNTRY in support of their fellow female artists. Premiering on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 5th, “LET THE GIRLS PLAY” highlights the latest news and songs from Country music’s top ladies and rising stars. It airs throughout the day every day.
Tune in to RADIO DISNEY COUNTRY on the RADIO DISNEY app, the iHEARTMEDIA app, on air via KDRC-A-F/LOS ANGELES, or via APPLE MUSIC or SPOTIFLY playlists, among other outlets.
“We are excited to launch ‘LET THE GIRLS PLAY,’ a daily feature spotlighting talented women in Country music talking about other talented women,” said RADIO DISNEY NETWORK GM and DISNEY CHANNELS WORLDWIDE VP/Music Strategy PHIL GUERINI. “In line with today’s Millennial and Gen Z listening habits, these engaging features will air multiple times daily. Female voices are integral to RADIO DISNEY COUNTRY, and we are thrilled to be working with two of our favorites, KALIE SHORR and SAVANNAH KEYES.”
SHORR just wrapped headlining the 2018 “ROAD TO THE CMA AWARDS TOUR” visiting WALMART stores across the U.S. to promote “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards.” KEYES was recently a contestant on the new USA NETWORKS series, “Real Country,” where she competed on coach JAKE OWENS’ team. SHORR and KEYES regularly perform together during NASHVILLE’s only weekly all-female singer-songwriter show, "SONG SUFFRAGETTES."
