ENTERCOM Country KFRG (K-FROG)/SAN BERNARDINO's 17th annual "STATER BROS. CHARITIES K-FROGGERS 4 KIDS RADIOTHON raised over $321,000 for LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL to benefit pediatric cancer patients.
ENTERCOM RIVERSIDE SVP./Market Manager MICHAEL VALENZUELA stated, “Year after year, our listeners step up to help the kids and families at LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. I am proud of our station’s efforts in assisting the hospital’s mission of helping the children in our community in their fight against pediatric cancer.”
K-FROG broadcast live from BASS PRO SHOPS at VICTORIA GARDENS in RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA on DECEMBER 5th to raise funds. Listeners were able to donate via the station’s phone bank or on the station’s website. The 14-hour radiothon featured testimonies from current hospital patients, parents of children who lost their battle to cancer and uplifting messages from K-FROG on-air personalities.
Over the past 16 years, K-FROG has raised $6.7 million for the hospital, with the funds going towards improvements to hospital rooms including new beds, televisions, sleeper chairs for parents and more.
