Inaugural Charleston Songwriters Festival Announced

WORKS ENTERTAINMENT, along with songwriters ARLIS ALBRITTON and TYLER BOONE, have just announced the first annual CHARLESTON SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL taking place APRIL 18th-20th in CHARLESTON, with a special kickoff event on APRIL 3rd in COLUMBIA, SC (at THE WHITE MULE).
The festival will be taking place all over KING STREET in CHARLESTON at venues such as REPUBLIC, COCKTAIL CLUB, JOHN KING, THE VINTAGE CLUB, KING STREET DISPENSARY and the CHARLESTON MUSIC HALL. Thirty top songwriters from all over the country will perform their biggest songs that major artists have cut and turned into hit radio singles. They include WILL HOGE, JOHN PAUL WHITE, JON MCGLAUGHLIN and WYATT DURETTE.
Local songwriters will also be performing during the festival, including BOONE, who recently returned to his hometown of CHARLESTON from NASHVILLE.
ALPHA MEDIA Triple A WPCO (THE PALM)/COLUMBIA and L.M. COMMUNICATIONS Triple A WCOO (THE BRIDGE)/CHARLESTON will be the presenting stations.
