FCC Serves Notices On Two Alleged Worcester FM Pirates For Interfering With Logan Airport Air Traffic Control

Two men in WORCESTER, MA have been issued Notices of Unlicensed Operation by the FCC for operating a pirate station on 103.5 FM that is interfering with air traffic control radio at LOGAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT in BOSTON.
MAXWELL BOAMAH and EMMANEUL OPONG were cited in the notices as operators of "NEW VISION RADIO," a station operating out of a commercial building at 179 Grafton Street in WORCESTER. The violation was noted on FEBRUARY 22nd and the notices were issued YESTERDAY (4/1); the accused were given ten days to provide the FCC with any evidence of authority to operate the station.
