ANTIOCH COLLEGE CORPORATION is transferring News-Talk-Variety WYSO/YELLOW SPRINGS-DAYTON, OH to MIAMI VALLEY PUBLIC MEDIA for $3.5 million ($802,500 from the DAYTON FOUNDATION's Fund for the Campaign for WYSO's Future, the rest in a promissory note, with a guarantee from the Foundation of payment of the $947,500 in outstanding pledges held in the fund). The college announced earlier this year that it had struck a deal with station management to buy out the license and operations of the station.
In other filings with the FCC, SCOTT THOMPSON's BIG RADIO LLC has applied for an STA to operate WBEL-A/SOUTH BELOIT, WI non-directionally at reduced power nighttimes due to technical issues.
