Monterey Attorney/Talk Host Paul Sanford Dead

Condolences to family and friends of MONTEREY activist attorney and talk show host PAUL SANFORD, who died SUNDAY in what police call a probable suicide at a SEASIDE, CA hotel.

SANFORD, a well-known lawyer who turned liberal talk show host and journalist, hosted shows at ZWERLING Talk KOMY-A, where he ran into controversy over his representing himself as a reporter for the station to get a WHITE HOUSE press pass (SANFORD had a pending suit against the station over the dispute), and at Talk KRXA-A/CARMEL VALLEY-MONTEREY.  He reportedly jumped to his death from an atrium balcony into the lobby of the EMBASSY SUITES hotel in SEASIDE SUNDAY morning.
