KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles Sets Nick Cannon Mornings Lineup

MERUELO MEDIA Top 40/Rhythmic KPWR (POWER 106)/LOS ANGELES has beefed up its new NICK CANNON MORNINGS show. Joining the new show is MELISSA RIOS, TEDDY MORA and DJ CARISMA.

RIOS, a LOS ANGELES native, most recently did mornings at SBS Spanish Contemporary KXOL (MEGA 96.3)/LOS ANGELES. RIOS commented, "Growing up I remember listening to POWER 106, so to be able to say I am a part of this family is surreal! I'm happy, I'm ready, I'm HOME!"

MORA began his career as a POWER 106 intern and most recently hosted SATURDAY nights on POWER 106. MORA chimed in, "I’m thrilled to be working with NICK CANNON, MELISSA and CARISMA! Entertaining people and having a positive impact in their lives, no matter the platform, has and always will be the goal."

DJ CARISMA returns to POWER 106 and has been named FEMALE DJ OF THE YEAR three times. CARISMA added, "I’m excited to be coming back home to CALI's #1 Hip Hop station, POWER 106. I am honored to be working alongside a superstar, NICK CANNON!  Watch out, y’all. Hip Hop’s newest, most LIT morning show is HERE and we’re ready to take over!"

New POWER 106 morning host NICK CANNON closed the commentary with, "We have a strong team! To have the support system of TEDDY, MELISSA, and CARISMA...people who are authentic to the culture and community is important. One of the things I'm most excited about is to help develop new artists out of LA with CARISMA!"
