NMBA Gives KHQT (Hot 103.1)/Las Cruces Excellence in Broadcasting Award

ADAMS Top 40 KHQT (HOT 103.1)/LAS CRUCES was honored with the NEW MEXICO BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION Excellence in Broadcasting Award for their Public service campaign for their annual “Pack the Van Food Drive.” The $2,000 prize that came with the award would go towards helping the organization affiliated with the campaign. On JULY 3rd, HOT 103.1 awarded CASA DE PEREGRINOS with a check for $2,000 for its emergency food program serving local residents.

“Being recognized by the NEW MEXICO BROADCASTERS ASSOCIATION is a great honor for our team at HOT 103," KHQT PD/morning host JOEY HERNANDEZ said. "Winning this award and the impact it can have in our community is a good example of a relationship and a connection with the community that a radio station has and can have.”
