DISNEY MUSIC GROUP is partnering with TREEFORT to produce a podcast series of interviews with film and TV composers working with DISNEY and its divisions MARVEL, PIXAR, LUCASFILM, and 20TH CENTURY FOX. "FOR SCORES" is hosted by VARIETY's JON BURLINGAME and is debuting with four episodes including talks with MARVEL Cinematic Universe composers ALAN SILVESTRI and PINAR TOPRAK, HARRY GREGSON-WILLIAMS ("PENGUINS," the new live-action "MULAN"), and HENRY JACKMAN ("RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET," "WRECK-IT RALPH," "BIG HERO 6").
DISNEY MUSIC GROUP President KEN BUNT said, "Launching a podcast was a natural progression for us given our legacy and rich history with award-winning film and television soundtracks. We look forward to including composers from our upcoming slate."
SVP of Marketing ROBBIE SNOW added, "We're incredibly fortunate to work with such a well-respected journalist and expert in music for films and television. JON's rapport with these composers has evoked poignant and personal accounts of their scoring processes."
