BIM ADEWUNMI and NICHOLE PERKINS' "THIRST AID KIT" podcast is moving from BUZZFEED to SLATE for a SEPTEMBER relaunch. The show, which posted its last installment with BUZZFEED at the end of its third season on JANUARY 28th, will return with new episodes on SEPTEMBER 26th.
“NICHOLE and I have missed making each other -- and our thirst buckets -- cackle in the studio,” said ADEWUNMI. “I am absolutely delighted we’ve found a new home at SLATE, and that we’ll be quenching thirst again, as God and KEANU REEVES intended.”
“I’m so happy to be heading back into the studio with BIM and am grateful we found a new home at SLATE. SLATE seemed like the perfect fit right away, and I can’t wait for our Thirst Buckets, OG and new, to hear what we have in store,” added PERKINS.
"THIRST AID KIT is one of my favorite podcasts -- sharp, hilarious, companionable, and endlessly insightful on celebrity, sexuality, and lust,” said SLATE Editorial Director of Audio GABRIEL ROTH. “I'm thrilled there will be more episodes, and even more thrilled that they'll be coming from SLATE."
The return of "THIRST AID KIT" will be accompanied by regular events including live shows and “Thirsty Movie Nights," starting with a screening of "POINT BREAK" on OCTOBER 7th at IFC CENTER in NEW YORK.
