As THE LABOR DAY WEEKEND was shifting into a slow lane start on FRIDAY (8/30), ALL ACCESS confirmed a DOUBLE SHOCKER: The departures of 27-year Top 40 WDCG (G105)/RALEIGH morning legend BOB DUMAS and Area SVPP CHRIS EDGE are both a reality.

We've also confirmed that the rest of the BOB & THE SHOWGRAM team of ERICA as well as PRODUCER BEN and ASHLEYH are still aboard. No word on replacements so far, but you can expect some more announcements soon.

EDGE is wrapping up his second stint at WDGC, which would have made seven years as of OCTOBER, and you can add four more for his first go around. In addition to being PD at WDCG, he's also been Area SVPP, overseeing both RALEIGH and GREENSBORO.

EDGE's programming career included former EMMIS-owned Top 40 WNOU (RADIONOW 93.1)/INDIANAPOLIS and then onward to Triple A KGSR and Classic Rocker KLBJ/AUSTIN where he was PD and Dir./Digital Media.
