WCTC/New Brunswick, NJ Adds 'This Morning - America's First News With Gordon Deal'

BEASLEY News-Talk WCTC-A/NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ is adding COMPASS MEDIA NETWORKS' "THIS MORNING -- AMERICA'S FIRST NEWS WITH GORDON DEAL" for 5-9a (ET) weekdays, beginning MONDAY (9/23). DEAL was a news and sports anchor at WCTC in the '90s; the show fills the slot left vacant by BERT BARON's exit to join the Mayor's office in NEW BRUNSWICK as Public Information Officer in JULY (NET NEWS 7/25). The syndicated show's news anchor JENNIFER KUSHINSKA is also a WCTC alumna.

“When an opportunity to establish a fresh new morning show presented itself, bringing GORDON DEAL's program to the station was a no brainer,” said BEASLEY NEW JERSEY SVP/Regional Market Manager DAN FINN. “It's a new program for the station, exclusive in our market, with a well-respected host who earned his stripes right here in CENTRAL JERSEY.”
 
“It’s tremendously exciting to return to the radio station that brought me in as a rookie and taught me virtually everything I know as a news reporter and anchor,” added DEAL.
