STEEL CITY Country KBEQ (Q104)/KANSAS CITY morning co-host JILLIAN GREGG announced her resignation from the station while on the air MONDAY (9/30). Her departure follows the AUGUST 16th exit of midday host ALI STEPHENS. Morning co-hosts ZEKE MONTANA and MIKE KELLAR remain. PD TODD NIXON, who is filling in on middays in the interim, is seeking replacements for both of the newly-vacant positions and can be reached here.
Among the job requirements, according to NIXON, are: a “minimum of two years of crushing your competition,” social media skills, and the ability to “pull up your bootstraps for more than just an airshift. We are very active behind the scenes and on the street.” While Country music knowledge is not a requirement, NIXON says, “you'll be attending 50 Country concerts a year. You should at least like some of the music.” Send him your best stuff at the address above.
