Chris Matthews Named PD For KIZN/Boise

CHRIS MATTHEWS joins CUMULUS/BOISE as PD and morning co-host for Country KIZN (KISSIN’ 92.3). He succeeds former PD HANK AARON, who recently departed along with morning hosts SHAWNDA MCNEAL and CORY MIKHALS (NET NEWS 9/12).

The move reunites MATTHEWS with KIZN midday host ALANA LYNN, with whom he worked at two previous stations. LYNN adds APD/MD stripes, and will move to mornings as co-host with MATTHEWS.

MATTHEWS previously was PD of iHEARTMEDIA’s then Country KBEB/SACRAMENTO, departing when the station flipped to AC last fall (NET NEWS 11/8/18). He joined KBEB in MARCH 2018 following time with ENTERCOM Country KMLE/PHOENIX, where he had been APD/MD, and TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Country KAWO/BOISE.

LYNN joined KIZN in APRIL, not long after departing the MD/morning co-host job at KMLE (NET NEWS 4/19)
