On Air Fest, KCRW/Santa Monica Announce Lineup For Upcoming On Air LA Annex

ON AIR FEST, the podcast festival from BROOKLYN, is holding a WEST COAST edition this year, ON AIR LA ANNEX, on NOVEMBER 7th and 8th at the ANNENBERG PERFORMANCE STUDIO of SANTA MONICA COLLEGE Triple A-News-Talk KCRW/SANTA MONICA, CA, and the festival has announced its lineup for the two days.

A day-long invitation-only industry summit with "HOT POD" editor NICK QUAH and the WORK  WORK agency will take place on NOVEMBER 7th; also on that day, BEN ADAIR (WESTERN SOUND) and LEA THAU (STRANGERS) will host a "Stranger Than Fiction" storytelling session, while a live edition of "THE MEMORY PALACE" with NATE DIMEO followed by a conversation between DIMEO and critic AMY NICHOLSON and a theatrical performance of JAMES KIM's "MOONFACE" will kick off the public portion of the event under the umbrella topic, "Art of the Podcast: Dispatches from the Vanguard of Audio Storytelling."

On NOVEMBER 8th, a day entitled "Music and Storytelling: Artists at the Crossroads" will include KAITLIN PRIEST's "An Ode to Sound," a panel on music podcasts with "SONG EXPLODER" host HRISHIKESH HIRWAY, "BROKEN RECORD"'s JUSTIN RICHMOND, and "DISCOSTAN" and "LOST NOTES"' ARSHIA HAQ, hosted by KCRW MD ANNE LITT, and "The Art of the Crossfade," combining media with JOSH KUN accompanied by musicians SAN CHA and CESAR CASTRO.

The original ON AIR FEST's next EAST COAST event is set for MARCH 5-8, 2020 at the WYTHE HOTEL in BROOKLYN.
