ENTERCOM News-Talk WWL-A-F/NEW ORLEANS has officially fired evening sports host SETH DUNLAP.

Crosstown FOX affiliate WVUE-TV (FOX 8) reports that MEGAN KIEFER, DUNLAP's attorney, said said that the host was asked to resign and he refused, leading to the firing.

DUNLAP took leave from the station after a homophobic tweet about him was posted on the station's account on SEPTEMBER 10th but has been investigated by the station and police for possibly sending the tweet himself and then demanding $1.8 million in compensation; DUNLAP, through his attorney, has denied the accusations, and KIEFER said that DUNLAP passed a voluntary polygraph test.
