PIONEER HEALTH AND MISSIONS is selling Religion WBIN-A (THE LIGHT)/BENTON, TN to GEORGE C. HUDSON, III for $2,500.
In other filings with the FCC, OUR LADY OF ANGELS CATHOLIC CHURCH OF HERMISTON, INC.is assigning low power FM KOLH-LP/HERMISTON, OR to HERMISTON CATHOLIC RADIO as a gift for no consideration.
Applying for STAs were SINGING RIVER MEDIA GROUP, LLC (WVNA-A/TUSCUMBIA, AL and WLAY-A/MUSCLE SHOALS, AL, reduced power while securing new site); MISSISSIPPI AUTHORITY FOR EDUCATIONAL TELEVISION (WMAH-F/BILOXI, MS, reduced power due to antenna line leak); and GENESIS COMMUNICATIONS OF TAMPA BAY, INC. (WHBO-A/PINELLAS PARK, FL, reduced power nondirectional at night from daytime site).
Filing for Silent STAs were OMNI BROADCASTING, LLC (WKGC-A/SOUTHPORT, FL, antenna problems) and TORRES MEDIA GROUP (KWNF/O'DONNELL, TX, power supply problems and KEVG/SANDERSON, TX, exciter problems).
Requesting extensions of Silent STAs were PALM BEACH RADIO GROUP LLC (W248CK/TWENTYMILE BEND, FL, silent because of impermissible overlap with W236CV) and BAY VIEW BROADCASTING, INC. (WMOM/PENTWATER, MI, GM still unable to commute to work after accident and station is seeking new management).
CASPER COMMUNICATIONS, LLC has closed on the sale of Adult Hits WCWI (WISCONSIN 106)/ADAMS, WI to MARCUS C. JAEGER's HEART OF WISCONSIN MEDIA, LLC for $350,000 plus annual bonuses based on billing and $175,000 for real property.
And VIKRAM SHAH BROADCASTING INC. is selling Spanish Religion KFCD-A/FARMERSVILLE-DALLAS, TX and K260CX/MCKINNEY, TX to LINDA HAMMOND's FARMERSVILLE INVESTMENTS, LLC for $600,000.
Also, in a television deal involving a new entrant into radio, NEXSTAR MEDIA GROUP is selling FOX affiliate KCPQ-TV (Q13 FOX) and MY NETWORK TV affiliate KZJO-TV/SEATTLE and FOX affiliate WITI-TV (FOX 6)/MILWAUKEE to FOX TELEVISION STATIONS, LLC for $350 million, and FOX is in turn selling FOX O&O WJZY-TV (FOX 46)/CHARLOTTE and MY NETWORK TV affiliate WMYT-TV (MY 12)/ROCK HILL-CHARLOTTE for $45 million. The deal gives FOX affiliates in two more NFC football markets, SEATTLE and GREEN BAY (MILWAUKEE) while sending one NFC market (CHARLOTTE) to NEXSTAR. NEXSTAR entered radio ownership with the acquisition of News-Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO with the purchase of TRIBUNE MEDIA CO. earlier this year.
