Saga Reports Slight Decreases In Revenue, Income For Third Quarter 2019

Net revenue fell from $31.7 million to $31.3 million year-to-year at SAGA COMMUNICATIONS INC. for third quarter 2019, flat excluding political revenue, which fell from $486,000 in the election year to $96,000 this year. Same station net revenue fell by $1.4 million to $30.3 million.

Net Income fell by $361,000 to $3.3 million (56 cents/diluted share), with free cash flow off by $697,000 ($385,000 of which was due to a reduction in SAGA's deferred tax provision) to $4.5 million.
