CMA Awards Add Numerous Female Artists To Lineup For Special Performances

"The 53rd Annual CMA Awards" have added an all-female medley to its previously announced lineup (NET NEWS 11/4, NET NEWS 10/29, NET NEWS 10/23). Led by show hosts CARRIE UNDERWOOD, REBA MCENTIRE and DOLLY PARTON, other female artists set to join them onstage singing iconic Country songs as part of the show's opening number are: TERRI CLARK, SARA EVANS, CRYSTAL GAYLE, THE HIGHWOMEN (comprised of BRANDI CARLILE, NATALIE HEMBY, MAREN MORRIS and AMANDA SHIRES), MARTINA MCBRIDE, JENNIFER NETTLES, TANYA TUCKER and GRETCHEN WILSON.
Additionally, the broadcast will feature a collaboration by KELSEA BALLERINI with fellow acts LINDSAY ELL, MADDIE & TAE, ASHLEY MCBRYDE, CARLY PEARCE, RUNAWAY JUNE, and a special appearance by LITTLE BIG TOWN. The group will perform a former CMA Song Of The Year and CMA Single Of The Year.
The awards show will air live from the BRIDGESTONE ARENA in NASHVILLE on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13th at 7p (CT) on ABC-TV.
