WZLX/Boston Holds Annual 'Turkey Meet & Greet' Food Drive

iHEARTMEDIA Classic Rock WZLX/BOSTON held its annual "Turkey Meet & Greet" food drive for the UNITED WAY and PEARL STREET CUPBOARD & CAFÉ TUESDAY night (11/26).

Morning team KARLSON, MCKENZIE & HEATHER hosted the event, which offered donors of non-perishable food items a THANKSGIVING meal with all the fixings. GARY HOEY performed at the event and a silent auction with autographed memorabilia from the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, ALICE COOPER, PAUL RODGERS, WARREN HAYNES and others raised money for the charities. Listeners donated over 1,200 pounds of food and over $2,000.
