Settlement Reached In Casey Kasem Legal Battle

A settlement has been reached in the legal battle between the children of legendary radio/television announcer CASEY KASEM and his widow, JEAN.

The children were seeking dismissal of their wrongful death suit against JEAN, to which the court agreed, and both sides accepted.

According to a report in TMZ, not everyone is happy with the result. 

One of KASEM's daughters, KERRI, is reportedly upset about the outcome, saying she's "distraught and heartbroken," and feels the settlement is being forced upon her by her two siblings and their lawyers.

The legal dispute arose when KASEM's children filed charges against his widow alleging she was responsible for his death. JEAN KASEM countersued, saying the children were conspiring to kill him.

The children were cleared of wrongdoing as was JEAN KASEM, but they have spent the past four years going after her in civil court.
