Atlanta Personality Cadillac Jack To Launch Podcast With His Wife

Former CUMULUS Country WKHX/ATLANTA morning host CADILLAC JACK has announced plans (on TWITTER) to launch a twice weekly lifestyle podcast with his wife, DONNA, via APPEN MEDIA GROUP. The first show will be available on TUESDAY, JANUARY 7th. CADILLAC JACK parted ways with WKHX in JULY after 25 years (NET NEWS 7/22).

In a series of tweets, the longtime broadcaster said his podcast will focus on current events, pop culture, and such topics as parenting, blended families, and unemployment, and will feature relatable stories, gossip, contests, games and prizes. In an interview with the ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION’s RODNEY HO, he also said he hopes to use his contacts in the Country music world to book guests, and noted that he’ll be able to share stories he couldn’t tell on WKHX because “the general rule there was not to paint Country artists in a negative light,” HO reports.

CADDY told fans, “I have enjoyed a nice break with DONNA and the kids and no 3:30a alarm. Time to get back to work, and I can’t wait to spend my days with you again.”
