KSSN/Little Rock Engages Kids Stuck At Home With New ‘Junior DJs’ Feature

With the CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) closing schools and forcing many parents to work from home, iHEARTMEDIA Country KSSN/LITTLE ROCK debuted an utterly adorable new programming feature, “KSSN 96 Junior DJs,” YESTERDAY (3/17). Area kids call in, identify themselves on air, say what school they go to, and then intro a record, while also sharing a quick fact or detail about the artist they’re introducing.

The idea is the brainchild of APD/MD and midday air personality JESS JENNINGS, who writes in her station blog, “We have some incredibly talented kids in Central ARKANSAS!”
