BANDSINTOWN has partnered with TWITCH to provide a revenue stream for artists attempting to pivot to live streaming as a source of income during this crisis.
Artists registered on BANDSINTOWN who have over 2,000 followers will be able to establish themselves as TWITCH affiliates and instantly start monetizing live streaming performances on TWITCH.
The LIVE Music Marathon begins THURSDAY, MARCH 26th and FRIDAY MARCH 27th from 10a-6p (PT) with established and emerging artists, including TAKING BACK SUNDAY, TANK AND THE BANGAS, AMANDA PALMER, 99 NEIGHBORS, MATT QUINN of MT. JOY, THE MOWGLIS, SOFI TUKKER, YUKSEK, and many more on this newly formed BANDSINTOWN LIVE channel. All of the proceeds from the 2-day event will be donated to the recently established MUSICARES COVID-19 RELIEF FUND.
“We are experiencing a new form of connectivity between music acts and their fans,” said BANDSINTOWN Managing Partner FABRICE SERGENT. “Artists have suddenly become more approachable. A new form of entertainment is emerging from this chaos.”
