Tear Gets Pittsburgh's Kiss

ALEX TEAR has been named PD of CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WKST (96.1 KISS-FM)/PITTSBURGH, replacing MARK ANDERSON, who recently resigned to join the AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT GROUP.

CLEAR CHANNEL PITTSBURGH RVP JOHN ROHM made the announcement and said, “We’re fortunate to have ALEX on our team. His knowledge, talent, skills are a great match for the challenge we face in taking KISS to the next level of performance.”

TEAR most recently served as PD of ABC Top 40 WDRQ/DETROIT. Previously, he held programming posts with ABC-owned WHYT and WPLT/DETROIT. He begins in PITTSBURGH on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7th.
