Allegra Willis Knerr Named SVP/Synch Licensing For BMG

ALLEGRA WILLIS KNERR has been named SVP/Synch Licensing for BMG, based in LOS ANGELES.
WILLIS KNERR will oversee the day-to-day operations and direction of BMG’s U.S. and CANADA-based synch licensing business. Previously, she served as VP/Film & TV Licensing. WILLIS KNERR will continue to report directly to BMG N.A. Chief Of Staff STEPHANE HUBERT. working alongside both BMG SVP Creative Synch U.S. JONATHAN PALMER and BMG’s international synch licensing teams.
WILLIS KNERR joined BMG following the acquisition of BUG MUSIC in 2011, where she served in film and television licensing roles for two years before that. She has been a key executive leading the teams in LOS ANGELES, NEW YORK and TORONTO, successfully and continually growing BMG’s synch licensing business for nearly a decade.

The appointment follows recent synch licensing promotions earlier this year including MEGAN GOLDSTEIN to VP/Synch Licensing; COREY BRULE to Sr. Dir./Synch Licensing; and MICHAEL SCHMITT to Sr. Dir./Synch Licensing.
