In this week's ALL ACCESS 'Beyond The 615 Column,' TODD STACH shares 10 phrases for hosts to consider using before giving out the phone number.

STACH says that having a listener call-in and join your show creates interaction, and if the listener has a great personality and moves the story forward, it’s a conversation worth hearing. But during that process, STACH notes, it’s easy to use verbal crutches, or even worse, fall into a bad habit, like always saying the same general phrase like, “Here’s the number to call (give the phone number twice).”

STACH said, "Most people need a little inspiration to do things differently, even if it means revisiting the very basics. You deserve to have someone in your radio life holding up a mirror to remind you how amazing you are, as well as offering you suggestions to become more compelling and confident."
