WARNER CHAPPELL MUSIC and MAILBOX MONEY MUSIC have jointly signed singer/songwriter STEVEN LEE OLSEN to a global publishing deal.
OLSEN, a TORONTO native, moved to NASHVILLE in 2004 and scored #1 songs in the U.S. with KEITH URBAN'S "Blue Ain't Your Color" and KIP MOORE'S "More Girls Like You," and in CANADA with DALLAS SMITH's “Drop.” OLSEN's songs have also been recorded by GARTH BROOKS, RASCAL FLATTS, BILLY CURRINGTON, BRETT YOUNG, RUSSELL DICKERSON, LITEL BIG TOWN, LADY A and THE JUDDS. He is signed as an artist to UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP CANADA and managed by THE CORE.
“We’re so grateful to be working with SLO alongside our incredible partners at MAIL MONEY," said WCM NASHVILLE Sr. Dir./A&R SPENCER NOHE. "He has an infectious spirit, and his talent and track record speak for themselves.”
"SLO is one of the most naturally gifted songwriters I've ever been in the writing room with, and I couldn't be more excited to be working together," added MAILBOX MONEY MUSIC’s JIMMY ROBBINS.
