SPOTIFY is revising the leadership of its podcast operations. with BILL SIMMONS taking on more responsibility while continuing to head THE RINGER, and PARCAST founder MAX CUTLER expanding his role as well.

Among the changes, Head of U.S. Studios and Video JULIE MCNAMARA is adding oversight ot THE RINGER, GIMLET MEDIA, and PARCAST as well as other original content and partnerships. SIMMONS will serve as Global Head of Sports Content as well as Managing Dir. of THE RINGER, and CUTLER will become Head of Talk Creator Content and Partnerships, with a Global Markets Head of Talk Content to be named later. MCNAMARA and CUTLER will report directly to CEO DANIEL EK. with SIMMONS reporting to MCNAMARA.

In addition, GIMLET MEDIA Co-Founder MATT LIEBER will exit the company but continue as an advisor; as previously announced, Global Head of Podcasts  COURTNEY HOLT is leaving and will also serve as an advisor.
