Rick Thomas Named Brand Manager Of Beasley Media Group’s Tampa Bay Stations

BEASLEY MEDIA GROUP has named RICK THOMAS the new Brand Manager of the company’s TAMPA-based radio cluster, including Top 40/Rhythmic WLLD (WILD 94.1), Country WQYK (99.5 QYK), Classic Hits WRBQ (Q105), Latin Top 40 WYUU (92.5 MAX!MA), Classic Rock WPBB (98.7 THE SHARK) and Money Talk WHFS-A. In addition, he will serve as PD of WQYK. THOMAS will officially begin his new position on TUESDAY, JANUARY 17th. 

He succeeds former cluster OM and QYK PD TRAVIS DAILY, who departed last fall and is now PD at CUMULUS Country KUBL (93.3 THE BULL)/SALT LAKE CITY (NET NEWS 12/5/22).

THOMAS most recently served as the national format leader and day-to-day PD at SUMMITMEDIA Top 40 WWST (STAR 102.1) in KNOXVILLE. Prior to that, he worked as the PD and OM for COX’s TAMPA-based radio cluster, and at CBS RADIO in NEW YORK.
