Day One Agenda Announced

COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR (CRS) has announced details of its "Digital Music Summit at CRS," which will kick off the three-day event, set for MARCH 13–15 at the OMNI NASHVILLE HOTEL Five educational sessions are planned for the digital summit, that will include discussions surrounding Web3, NFTs, and emerging platforms. Those sessions and featured panelists include: 

"Web 3, NFTs and Virtual Worlds: Beyond The Hype:" This session will explore Web3, NFTs, and virtual worlds like the metaverse. Panelists include VNUE's ZACH BAIR, PEX's CHRIS McMURTRY, and SONGVEST's SEAN PEACE. DIGITAL MUSIC NEWS CRO NOAH ITMAN will lead the panel. 

"Sweet Streams (Are Made Of These):" Artists and managers will learn what they can control on streaming platforms, how to set new releases up for success, and answer the question, "How do you get on a playlist?" Panelists include PANDORA's JOHNNY CHIANG and SPOTIFY's RACHEL WHITNEY. WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE's TIM FOISSET will moderate. 

"Reach Out: Meeting Listeners Where They Are" This panel will look at non-traditional methods for meeting fans on streaming platforms and tips for highlighting engagement. Speakers include CROWDSURF's JADE DRIVER and UMG NASHVILLE's KRISTEN REED. 

"How They Built It: 'Fancy Like' and Its Path To #1:" A case study on how WALKER HAYES and his record label took "Fancy Like" to #1. Panelists include MONUMENT RECORDS' KATIE McCARTNEY, SMACKSONGS' ROBERT CARLTON and MARISSA TURK, and AMAZON MUSIC's EMILY COHEN BELOTE.  

"Flex-Ability - Marketing Without a Map:" Panelists will dissect three album releases scheduled for MARCH-APRIL 2020 and observe how they were able to pivot during unforeseen circumstances caused by the pandemic. The panel includes SANDBOX's LUCIA KAMINSKY, WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE's CLARK MIMS TEDESCO and Q PRIME's DOUG PHILLIPS. MTHEORY's CAMEO CARLSON will moderate. 

Day one of CRS will also include the WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE kickoff luncheon, "AMAZON MUSIC presents Country Heat at CRS 2023," a conversation with GARTH BROOKS and the annual ping-pong tournament. More agenda details will be announced soon.
