LAist Studios Podcast Looks At K-Pop In America

Debuts February 23rd

LAist STUDIOS' next podcast is the story of K-Pop in the U.S., with a personal viewpoint. "K-POP DREAMING," hosted by television writer VIVIAN YOON, recounts the music's origins and looks at the growth of the genre through the perspective of the Korean community in LOS ANGELES and YOON's own experiences as a second-generation immigrant.

The show, being fed as a new season of LAist's "CALIFORNIA LOVE" series, will be available starting FEBRUARY 23rd in both audio and video form. The show will be feted at a special live event and discussion on MARCH 16th at the CRAWFORD FAMILY FORUM in PASADENA, in partnership with GYOPO and featuring a live DJ.
