Country songwriter MARV GREEN has signed a global publishing deal with RED DOOR MUSIC GROUP and WARNER CHAPPELL MUSIC. GREEN's credits include penning TIM McGRAW’s 2020 hit. “I Called Mama," and the song that earned him BMI’s Song of the Year, “Amazed," a 1999 hit for LONESTAR that was also cut by BOYZ II MEN. He's notched other hits with ERIC CHURCH, BROOKS & DUNN, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, CHRIS YOUNG, McGRAW and FAITH HILL.
In recent years, GREEEN has scored album cuts from MORGAN WALLEN, JAKE OWEN, JON PARDI, MIDLAND, LEE BRICE, JACKSON DEAN, and LOCASH.
GREEN said, "I couldn’t be more thrilled to join forces with ABBEY ADAMS, RED DOOR MUSIC GROUP, and the amazing WARNER CHAPPELL staff. I’m looking forward to this next chapter of my songwriting career."
WARNER CHAPPELL MUSIC NASHVILLE Pres./CEO BEN VAUGHN said, “I’ve had the pleasure to know MARV GREEN his entire career. One thing that is certain is that you can always count on him to show up with the right idea, unique spin on a melody, and the writing room battle-worn ability to know how to dig out a hit song that can be played forever.”
Added RED DOOR MUSIC GROUP Pres./GM ABBEY ADAMS, “I can’t tell you how excited I am to be working with such an accomplished writer. Until recently, I have only known MARV from afar, but have always been a fan of his storytelling craft. To now be a partner in his career is really an honor. I am looking forward to celebrating many hits together in the future.”
