WCYQ (100.3 The Wolf)/Knoxville Adds Hanah May As Afternoon Co-Host

HANAH MAY is joining BRIAN "OPIE JOE" CREASON for afternoons at SUMMITMEDIA Country WCYQ (100.3 THE WOLF)/KNOXVILLE, TN. MAY comes to WCYQ from SINCLAIR BROADCASTING GROUP ABC/FOX affiliate WTVC-TV/CHATTANOOGA, where she served as a reporter and multimedia journalist; she served a brief stint last year as Promotions Asst. at SUMMITMEDIA/KNOXVILLE.

The afternoon co-host position at THE WOLF has been open since CARINA PATTERSON's departure last MAY (NET NEWS 5/31/22). 

CREASON, who has been with the cluster for over a decade, was named PD of WCYQ and Classic Hits WNOX (AWESOME 93.1)/KNOXVILLE, TN last DECEMBER (NET NEWS 12/16/22). 

"HANAH is a strong communicator and team builder," said CREASON. "With her dynamic personality, EAST TENNESSEE is going to fall in love with her. I’m excited to get her on the radio." 

MAY added, "Since I was knee high to a grasshopper, I have listened to Country music, especially HANK JR. and CHRIS LEDOUX, and new Country too. I feel extremely blessed to join OPIE and THE WOLF in my hometown and am excited to start this journey."
