Congratulations to RCA NASHVILLE's KANE BROWN, his wife, KATELYN BROWN, and the RCA promotion team for landing the #1 single at Country radio this week with "Thank God," which tops the MEDIABASE Country chart in its 22nd week. The duet, which impacted radio last SEPTEMBER, is from BROWN's third studio album, DIFFERENT MAN, also released in SEPTEMBER. It was written by JOSH HOGE, JAXSON FREE, KYLE FISHMAN, CHRISTIAN DAVIS and JARED MULLINS.
"My fans have been waiting five years for us to sing together," KANE BROWN said of his wife during an interview with APPLE MUSIC COUNTRY's TODAY'S COUNTRY RADIO WITH KELLEIGH BANNEN last fall. "I keep telling everybody she's my secret weapon, but this song is just, like, us. I feel like it's any relationship song or anybody that's married or going to get married that just knows. It's like, 'GOD put you in my life for a reason.'"
Elsewhere in the top 5, MORGAN WALLEN rises 3-2 with "Thought You Should Know," and LUKE COMBS' "GOING, GOING, GONE" ascends 4-3. After a two-week run at the top, NATE SMITH's "Whiskey On You" is now #4, and LAINEY WILSON climbs into the top 5 from #6 with "Heart Like A Truck." Wilson currently has two songs in the Top 10 as her duet with HARDY, "wait in the truck," is at #9. New to the top 10 this week is PARKER McCOLLUM's "Handle On You," which rises 11-10.
