“It was 2011, and ALL ACCESS President/Publisher, JOEL DENVER, was the one with the foresight to know a column on the emerging Social Media space would be something of value.
"And through your support, and all of those who read and share the pieces internally or socially, I truly love writing about why Social Media matters, and our behavior behind engagement that plays a pivotal role."

DENVER recalled, “I remember asking LORI to write for ALL ACCESS back in 2008 when she left day-to-day programming for CLEAR CHANNEL to study the Social Media space. It took some prodding, but she finally took the leap in 2011. LORI teaches and inspires us weekly with insights and often humor on how legacy media can leverage Social Media for greater awareness, engagement, and growth. LORI is without question at the very top of her game and she is easily the smartest person I've ever met in Social Media. Here’s to another 12 years and more!”
LORI noted, “In 2008, when I began working in Social Media I was also helping companies with digital, SEO, email marketing, etc. And it hit me early on - I was becoming someone who knew a little about a lot. And that’s not always good.
"Life is a trade-off and in 2011, I began writing ‘MERGE’ and focusing only on social media so I would become someone who would know a lot about one thing. It would also offer more optimal results for clients.Thanks to JOEL for prodding me. I enjoy sharing what I learn each week through what the platforms and audience behavior teach me.”
