Audacy To Shut Off AM Signals Of KDWN and KXST/Las Vegas

ALL ACCESS has confirmed that AUDACY is taking the AM signals of News-Talk KDWN-A-K268CS and Sports KXST-A (THE BET)/LAS VEGAS off the air as of MARCH 1st as the stations' diplexed tower site is being sold. The land sale was disclosed in NOVEMBER when AUDACY acquired KDWN in a swap for Alternative KXTE (ALT 107.5, now Talk X107.5)/PAHRUMP-LAS VEGAS.

The stations' programming will continue to air in the market, however, with the FM translator at 101.5 FM airing KDWN's programming fed by KMXB-HD3, while AUDACY moved THE BET's sports betting lineup to KLUC-HD2 on TUESDAY (2/14), replacing the syndicated Sports lineup of "98.5 HD2 THE FAN." The programming will also continue to be available via the AUDACY app and websites.

The shutdown of the two AM signals was first reported by RADIO INSIGHT.
