EMMIS Alternative WKQX (Q101)/CHICAGO has a special "Q101'S HOMETOWN HEROS WEEKEND" planned, beginning today (10/28) at 5p (CT) to commemorate the World Champion CHICAGO WHITE SOX. Q101 will be airing blocks of music all weekend long from CHICAGO artists.
Q101 MD JACENT JACKSON told ALL ACCESS the Q101 SHUFFLE of HOMETOWN HEROS will even include some out of format WINDY CITY artists such as THE BLUES BROTHERS and KANYE WEST.
Local hometown hero, CHEVELLE will perform at "MANCOW's SOX VICTORY CELEBRATION" on MONDAY morning (10/31).
