XM's NavTraffic to Go Portable

XM today announced that GARMIN INTERNATIONAL INC. is the first company to offer portable navigation devices with real-time XM NavTraffic powered by NAVTEQ Traffic with XM Weather and XM Satellite Radio capabilities in a portable product. The product, called the “StreetPilot,” will come in versions with either 3.8-inch or 7-inch touch screens and is expected to hit retail in DECEMBER/Q4 2005. StreetPilot will retail from $1199.00 for the base unit on up to $1800 for the most advanced unit.
