SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM third quarter net revenue rose 5% to $43 million, attributed to the launch of KRZZ (LA RAZA)/SAN FRANCISCO, which generated $1.3 million for the quarter, and increases in PUERTO RICO and NEW YORK. Income from Continuing Operations before Income Taxes and Discontinued Operations fell from $5.2 million to a loss of $22.4 million, mostly attributed to charges from early extuinguishment of debt.
Excluding the company's expenses for the startup of its MIAMI-KEY WEST television operation, SBS expects net revenue growth in the low-single-digit range.
